The Finnish word seita refers to large-sized or specially shaped boulders or
rocks that the Lapps worshipped as the abodes of deities. Sometimes a seita
could be wooden; tree stumps or posts driven into the ground whose upper ends
were often shaped to resemble a human head (Seita logo). For us it symbolizes
reliable Lappish locality and respect for traditions and nature.
